Cyprus side AEL Limassol are keen on keeping Mamelodi Sundowns winger Thapelo Maseko for another season.
iDiski Times can reveal that Limassol are working on a deal that would see Maseko staying for another season in Cyprus.
The 22-year-old was on a six-month loan at Limassol from Sundowns and had a good short spell which impressed The Lions and the Blue-Yellow are expected to open talks with Sundowns for a way forward.
Limassol already lost Zakaria Sawo, who was loaned from Djurgården, as he signed with Azerbaijan giants Qarabağ FK on a permanent basis. Zakaria made 22 appearances and scored 10 goals for Limassol.
Zakaria will leave a huge void in the Limassol attack, which is why the Cyprus giants are keen on getting Maseko for another season.
