Former Golden Arrows midfielder Shadrack Kobedi has been spotted training with Siwelele as the club continues its pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Kobedi parted ways with Abafana Bes’thende at the end of last season as part of a major squad overhaul that saw several players leave the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.

The 30-year-old spent just over a season at Golden Arrows after joining the club on a free transfer in March 2025 following his departure from Royal AM, who had been expelled from the PSL.
Game time proved hard to come by during the 2025/26 campaign, with Kobedi making just three appearances in all competitions, all of which came in the Carling Knockout Cup.
The experienced midfielder has now been seen training with Lehlohonolo Seema’s squad and featured in the team’s friendly match against Leruma Lions on Thursday, 9 July.
Siwelele have undergone a major rebuilding process during the current transfer window, parting ways with more than 20 players as the club reshapes its squad under Seema.
Several new arrivals are also expected before the start of the new campaign, with Kobedi among the players looking to impress during pre-season.
