Golden Arrows have parted ways with another member of their technical team as the club’s major restructuring continues ahead of the new season.
Abafana Bes’thende began their overhaul by parting ways with head coach Manqoba Mngqithi at the end of the previous campaign.
His departure followed the exits of assistant coaches Kagiso Dikgacoi and Musa Bilankulu, as well as goalkeeping coach Marcus Mashilo.
Now, Head of Analysis and Performance Analyst Yardaan Valodia has also left the club just weeks before the start of the 2026/27 season.
Valodia joined the KwaZulu-Natal outfit from Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2025 and quickly established himself as an important member of the technical team.
His work at Arrows was regularly praised by Mngqithi, who has since taken over as head coach of Tanzanian giants Young Africans.
The highly rated analyst was also part of the South Africa Under-20 technical team that won the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations and secured qualification for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
More recently, Valodia served as a remote performance analyst for Bafana Bafana during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, providing analytical support to the national team’s technical staff throughout the tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
