Siwelele FC are currently assessing young Marumo Gallants striker Matthew Marou.
Marou comes through from Gallants’ reserve side, where he played in the DStv Diski Challenge.
He made his senior debut for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa earlier this year in a 2-1 loss against Lamontville Golden Arrows and finished the season with five appearances in the first team.
Latest information received is that the towering 22-year-old forward has started his assessment at Siwelele, where he is under the watchful eye of head coach Lehlohonolo Seema.
Siwelele has been very active in the transfer window, having already signed Njabulo Ngcobo, Thabiso Sesane, Selaelo Rasebotja, and the latest signing is goalkeeper Gift Mthombeni from Casric Stars.
They are expected to travel to Polokwane to continue with their pre-season, with the league set to start in 11 days.
Siwelele will face TS Galaxy in the opening game of the 2026/27 campaign at home.
