Former Orlando Pirates, Young Africans and Marumo Gallants winger Mahlatse ‘Skudu’ Makudubela has landed a new job as a video and performance analyst at US Monastir of Tunisia.
The news comes just days after the former AS Vita man announced his retirement from playing, having spent the last season at Siwelele FC where he only made one appearance.
The 36-year-old former attacker was a journey man in his playing days, even had a short stint in Europe with Karvina FK while locally he has also featured for Mamelodi Sundowns, Chippa United, Highlands Park and University of Pretoria.
Skudu is reported to be equipped with a UEFA B License and a Level 2 Opposition Analysis Badge, qualifications he acquired while he was still playing.
At Monastir, he will link up with former Sundowns assistant and AmaZulu coach Romain Folz after he was recently appointed as head coach.
Makudubela posted a picture of himself in front of big Monastir Crest on his social media platform, captioned ‘New Chapter New Beginnings Same Passion’.
