Golden Arrows have strengthened their technical team with the appointment of former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyanda Zwane as an assistant coach ahead of the start of the new season.
He brings a wealth of experience to Abafana Bes’thende after calling time on his playing career in 2020 following his spell with the now-defunct Uthongathi FC.

Since retiring from professional football, Zwane has remained involved in the game through media work, as an analyst on both television and radio while awaiting his next opportunity in coaching.
He joins the backroom staff led by newly appointed head coach Pitso Dladla. Dladla took charge of the Durban-based club after replacing Manqoba Mngqithi, who departed at the end of last season.
Zwane will work alongside fellow assistant coach James Madidilane and goalkeeper coach Jacob Mokhasi, who were also added to the technical team last month.
This marks his return to the club, having played for Arrows between 2006 and 2014 prior to his switch to the Brazilians. During his Sundowns spell, he had a loan stint with Arrows.
As the KZN Premier’s Cup is currently taking place in Durban, he was seen on the bench alongside Dladla with the team taking on Durban City.
