Goodman Mosele has completed a permanent transfer to Chippa United from Orlando Pirates, as reported by iDiski Times.
Mosele, 26, was on the verge of joining Durban City on a season-long loan, but Chippa hijacked the deal at the last minute and convinced the midfielder to make a move to Gqeberha.
On Thursday, the Chilli Boys confirmed his signing after the midfielder already spending the 2023/24 and 2025/26 seasons on loan in Gqeberha.
“The River has found its course,” the club stated.
“Now it leads the way. Goodman Mosele is officially a permanent Chilli Boy and our captain for the 2026/27 season.”
Mosele joined Pirates in July 2021 from Baroka FC for an undisclosed transfer fee. The midfielder made 53 appearances in the black and white of Pirates and 55 in the Chilli Boys’ colours.
