DRC winger Glody Lilepo has been unveiled by Libyan giants Al Ahly Benghazi after agreeing to a transfer with Kaizer Chiefs.
The 29-year-old confirmed his exit from the Soweto giants on Monday, becoming the second Amakhosi player to bid farewell after defender Given Msimango joined Stellenbosh FC.
With his future uncertain at the time, Lilepo had been left out of Chiefs’ pre-season after both Benghazi and Raja Club Athletic agreed to a fee with Chiefs.
Bengazi announced the capture of Lilepo as they look to improve on their table finish from last season after finishing third to miss out on the qualification playoffs.

Lilepo joined the Glamour Boys from Valenciennes in January 2025 in a reported R9-million transfer and has scored 15 goals with five assists in 56 games for the club, winning the Nedbank Cup two seasons ago.
