Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango has confirmed his exit from Amakhosi ahead of his imminent move to Stellenbosch FC.
Msimango, 29, joins Stellies as part of the swap deal also including Ashley Du Preez moving to the Winelands, with Langelihle Phili moving the other way.
The towering defender joined Amakhosi from TS Galaxy in 2023 and had since made 53 appearances for the club, with 13 of them coming from last campaign.
On Monday, though, he confirmed his Chiefs exit, with Stellenbosch and Chiefs yet to announce the deal.
“Thank you, Kaizer Chiefs, for giving me memories that will last a lifetime,” he wrote on Instagram.
“It was an honour to wear this badge and be part of this great club. I leave with gratitude in my heart and wish the club nothing but success.”
Du Preez was already pictured in Stellenbosch kit, with his transfer also yet to be officially confirmed.
