Golden Arrows have secured the future of defender Themba Mantshiyane after handing him a new contract ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Abafana Bes’thende have been active during the transfer window, overseeing player arrivals and departures while also restructuring their technical team ahead of the new campaign.
The Durban-based outfit wasted little time in appointing a new coaching staff and integrating fresh signings during pre-season preparations.
Mantshiyane was among the players whose contracts expired at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 30-year-old has spent five seasons with Golden Arrows since joining from Free State Stars in 2021 and will now aim to establish himself under new head coach Pitso Dladla.
He has made over 100 appearances at Arrows, netting two goals and registering two assists in the process.
Arrows kicked off their Betway Premiership campaign with a 0-0 draw with Chippa United at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday.
