Kaizer Chiefs defender Zitha Kwinika should’ve been given his marching orders after his kick on Tashreeq Matthews, this is according to former PSL referee Victor Hlungwani.
This comes after the incident occurred in a very physical match between Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

With Amakhosi leading 1-0, Kwinika appeared to plant his studs into Matthews’ back in an attempt to clear the ball, an incident that saw tempers flare between the two opponents.
The Chiefs defender was only given a yellow card by referee Alfred Jelly Chavani with Hlungwani arguing that was the incorrect decision as he should’ve been sent for an early shower.
“He kicked Tashreeq Matthews at the back with excessive force and brutality endangering the safety of an opponent,” Hlungwani said on Soccerzone.

“So, here he got a yellow card for this. This is serious foul play.
“It was supposed to be a red card not a yellow card.”
