Former Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC defender Olisa Ndah looks set for a move to North Africa ending his five-year spell in South Africa.
The Nigeria international, 28, arrived in South Africa in 2021, joining Pirates from Akwa United and quickly developed into one of the finest defenders in South African football.
Having arrived at the club as an NPFL title winner, Ndah added four MTN8 trophies and three Nedbank Cups before his exit to join Stellenbosch last season.
And after parting ways upon the end of his short-term deal, Ndah has been linked to several club’s across the continent and Mamelodi Sundowns in recent weeks.
iDiski Times have been informed that Ndah is now in talks with several suitors in Libya, but talks are at ‘an advanced stage’ with one particular club.
The towering defender was reportedly in contention to join Al Shomooa before his move to Stellies last season but could now be finally ending his successful period in Mzansi for a new challenge.
There’s been an influx of some of the most sought-after talent on the African continent to the Libyan Premier League in recent months, with the likes of South Africa international forward Fagrie Lakay the latest, joining Al Ittihad Tripoli last week.
