Former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Ethan Visagie has signed a permanent deal with ORBIT College after his exit at the Buccaneers.

The 24-year-old joined Pirates in 2022 after a stint with NC Professionals and Upington City and was primarily a back-up option in the first time during his time at the club.

After spending time with the reserve team last season, sources have confirmed he’s left the club and signed a two-year deal with the recently relegated ORBIT.

He follows Abdoulaye Mariko to the club from Pirates – who also signed for the club in the off-season as they look to build a squad capable of earning promotion back to the top-flight.

It marked another change in the department, with Melusi Buthelezi also leaving the club before the start of the new campaign – before securing a move to Sekhukhune United.

Pirates have since signed 21-year-old Dublin Boon from Stellenbosch to replace Visagie while Siyabonga Dladla remains the deputy – and Zoëy Monyepao is also part of the first team – for Sipho Chaine in the current first-team set-up.
