AmaZulu have bolstered their defence with the arrival of Ivory Coast defender Ahoutou Landry Angenor Zouzou.
The 25-year-old defender spent last season in Tanzania with AZAM and was previously on the books of AFAD Plateau, having been developed and emerged in the senior set-up at ASEC Mimosas.
He was part of the U20 and U23 national team set-up, as one of the most promising talents in the West African country before his adventure to Tanzania.
Usuthu have now managed to lure the left footed centre-back to the Betway Premiership, to strengthen their defensive options for the 2026/27 season.
iDiski Times understands the player has been training with the club for the past week and has penned a three-year deal, providing more options for head coach Arthur Zwane.
The club will be aiming to improve of their fourth-place finish in the league last season and have acquired ten new players; Zouzou, Khomotjo Lekoloane, Neo Mokoena, Keanan Phillips, Siphesihle Maduna, Gape Moralo, Omega Mdaka, Moses Shumah and Wilfried Kouassi.
