Kaizer Chiefs loanee Samkelo Zwane scored the match-winner for Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Hope FC in their narrow 1-0 win over North West University.
Keagan Dolly also made his debut as Clayton Daniels’ men moved fourth on the log standings with six points from their opening three outings.
The 24-year-old has been handed a new lease of life after struggling to nail down a regular starting berth in Amakhosi’s first team.
Last season, he was sent out on loan to Siwelele FC where he notched up seven appearances.
It was a perfect start for the Immortals on the road as Zwane received a ball from a Lyle Lakay corner kick before he smashed a low range shot into the corner to make it 1-0 in the sixth minute.

The Cape Town outfit recorded their second win of the season in three matches to move within three points of league leaders Magesi FC.
Two other Amakhosi loanees, Pheko Phago and Naledi Hlongwane, who features for the club’s DStv Diski Challenge squad, also got a run in the match as Hope held on for the three points.
Their next match will be the highly anticipated Cape Town Derby against Cape Town City on Saturday, 12 September.
