Pitso Dladla and Miguel Cardoso have named their starting line-ups as Lamontville Golden Arrows and Mamelodi Sundowns lock horns in the Betway Premiership at King Zwelithini Stadium this afternoon.
Exactly a week ago, Arrows got eliminated from the MTN8 by Sundowns on the away-goal rule. It was their first defeat of the season and the first time they conceded in the new campaign, going down 3-2 at home.
Dladla’s side will aims for revenge this afternoon, especially since they have a good home record, having last lost a league match at home in December 2025. So far, Arrows scored only one league goal this season and conceded none in four games.
High-flying Sundowns aim to continue where they left off midweek when they beat Milford FC 2-0 at home.
The African champions are currently sitting in second place in the Betway Premiership on 13 points level on points with Pirates and could go ahead of the Buccaneers with a win. Cardoso’s side are the highest-scoring team with 13 goals in five league matches.
Sundowns suffered two league losses last season and one of the losses came against Arrows at the very same stadium. Downs last won an away league match against Arrows in October 2021.
