Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Siyanda Ndlovu has opened up about winning his first trophy with the club just months after joining the Tshwane giants.
The 24-year-old completed his move from Golden Arrows during the current transfer window and has quickly made an impression, earning regular playing time under head coach Miguel Cardoso.

Ndlovu was part of the Sundowns side that lifted the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup on Saturday after defeating Al Ahli Saudi 2-1 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The attacker came off the bench and featured for the final eight minutes of the match. Coincidentally, the triumph came on his birthday, making the occasion even more memorable as he celebrated by lifting his first trophy with the Brazilians.
Speaking after the victory, Ndlovu expressed his delight at starting his Sundowns career with silverware. He also revealed his ambition to win more trophies this season, with the club now setting its sights on a place in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final against European champions Paris Saint-Germain.
“I don’t even know what to say, the way I’m so happy,” said Ndlovu on Sundowns TV.
“And this happened during my birthday, it’s massive to me. I’m so happy.
“I’m looking forward to winning even more trophies this season. We have just started with this one, and it’s ‘FIFA’ special one, we must go on to other ones.
“We want to play PSG eventually and that’s where we’re going.”
