Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena says there’s no preference for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations draw as it’s an extremely unpredictable tournament.

Having missed out on Cameroon 2023, they stunned onlookers in Ivory Coast last time around, returning home with a bronze medal, having qualified from a group with Mali, Namibia and Tunisia.
But speaking to this publication in the recent launch of the PUMA Future 8 boot, the Mamelodi Sundowns star admitted there’s no preference really.

“The ones you think you’re going to beat are the ones that are going to beat you – so AFCON is very unpredictable.”
Mokoena has scored nine goals for Bafana in 40 appearances since making his senior international debut in March 2018 under then head coach Stuart Baxter.
