Kenya national team coach Benni McCarthy says he is not worried about Guinea ahead of their 2027 AFCON qualifier on Thursday.
Harambee Stars will travel to Guinea for the match, which is scheduled to kick off at 18:00, with both teams searching for their first win of the qualifying campaign.

Kenya opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Eritrea on Saturday, while Guinea suffered a defeat to Bafana Bafana on the same day.
McCarthy believes Kenya could have secured a comfortable victory over Eritrea had they been given sufficient time to prepare. The team had been affected by a go-slow strike over unpaid allowances.
The coach says having at least two training sessions before facing Guinea should be enough for his side to be competitive.
“The team was excellent, we dominated the game [against Eritrea] like that despite having not had even one training session,” said McCarthy.
“We were playing a team that’s been preparing maybe with two sessions a day. We were by far a better team.
“I’m not too worried about [Guinea], I think if we can sort out the problems we’ve had. Two sessions will give us a better chance because we had zero sessions but still performed like that.
“So, if we have maybe two sessions, we will be better organised, and we would limit the mistakes we had like the one that cost us a goal, our finishing, quality in the final third will also be better than what it was today.
“If you’re a person and you watched the game and can’t see that we should have had at least six or seven clear goals if we were sharp, then I don’t know which football match you watched and the one I watched.”
