Fadlu Davids is in the process of awakening the sleeping giant in Tanzania with Simba SC edging closer to qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal.
Simba are a point away from making it to the next round of the CAFCC. They next face stubborn Angolan side Bravo do Maquis in the penultimate match of the group before playing Tunisian side Constantine in the following match.

Davids emphasized that they won’t go for a draw against Bravo but rather for maximum points, but that a draw would be good because it would confirm their qualification.
“We need a draw in the next match to qualify and then we need to win the last match to be top,” Davids told the media.
“The first job was always to qualify first and then the next target would be try to top the group.
