Former Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu forward Augustine Mulenga is set to return to the PSL with Chippa United.
Mulenga, 33, left Usuthu in controversial circumstances as he suffered a serious injury towards the end of his contract which saw the club release him during his recovery period.
After undergoing surgery and rehabilitation, he returned to action in his homeland at Napsa Stars, where he was one of the standout players in the 2022/23 campaign.
Chippa were tracking his progress and had subsequently offered him a return to South African football, with iDiski Times sources confirming he’s arrived in the country.

The Chilli Boys tabled a one-year contract with an option to extend, sources within the club confirmed, as head coach Morgan Mammila cites him as a key signing to bolster their attacking options.
Currently, only final details between the club and the player’s representatives are left to be sorted out.
Mulenga scored 16 goals and registered 26 assists in 106 games across all competitions for Usuthu and the Soweto giants respectively between 2018 and 2022.
