Former Ubuntu Academy defender Munashe Garananga has completed a lucrative switch to FC. København.
The 23-year-old left Ubuntu in 2020 for a move to Belarus with Dynamo Brest and has since enjoyed a meteoric rise in Europe with FC Sheriff and KV Mechelen in Moldova and Belgium over the next two seasons.
His performances have seen the Danish Superliga side fork out €4-million for his services as he signed a four-year deal.

“Things have gone very fast for me in the past few years, but I have always felt ready to take the next step,” the Zimbabwe international said.
“I have had no doubt that this is an opportunity I must seize, and it will be great to get started at F.C. Copenhagen. I have not been able to avoid noticing the club’s great results.
“I’m looking forward to joining the team and helping to win the Danish championship next season.”
Garananga, who made his senior international debut last year, was part of the Warriors squad that lost 3-1 to South Africa in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier last month.
