Former Orlando Pirates reserve side head coach, Mandla Qhogi, completed a trophy treble in his first season in Swaziland.
Qhogi joined Nsingizini Hotspurs at the beginning of the season after leaving Sekhukhune United. ‘Mindlos’ is known for nurturing young talent, as he did at Pirates with players like Relebohile Mofokeng.

The South African mentor had it tough when he arrived in eSwatini, as his side missed out on qualifying for the CAF Champions League group stages, losing to Tanzanian giants Simba SC 3-0 on aggregate.
Qhogi didn’t look down, as he continued to work hard, and his hard work paid off after winning the BBET Trade Fair Cup.
With the season drawing to a close, Qhogi managed to win the Ingwenya Cup, which is the FA Cup of eSwatini. He later delivered the biggest trophy in the country, which is the MTN Premier League of eSwatini.
Hotspur won the league title convincingly, finishing the season with 65 points, the club’s most points in history. They will prepare for the new season, including the CAF Champions League.
