Musona, 36, has continued to prove that class is permanent and that age is just a number having found the back of the net six times in his last five Zimbabwean Castle Premier Soccer League matches:
⚽ Manica Diamonds (0-5)
⚽vs Chicken Inn (0-2)
⚽vs HardRock
⚽ vs CAPS United (0-2)
⚽⚽ vs Herentals (0-2)
The veteran striker is in red-hot form ahead of Scottland FC’s clash against Kaizer Chiefs in the Toyota Cup on 26 July 2026.

Mapeza on the other hand has guided the defending champions to the summit of the league standings with nine matches to go before the season comes to a close. They are the only team to have gone unbeaten during the month of June with five straight wins.

The table-toppers lead second-placed HardRock by eight points, though the latter have two games in hand.
On Saturday afternoon, they thumped FC Hunters 3-0 with Musona’s younger brother Walter netting a brace with Moses Shidolo scoring the other goal.
