South African winger Thembinkosi Lorch has completed his move from Wydad Athletic Club to Al Ittihad SC.
Lorch, 32, has made the surprise switch to the Libyan giants after a money-spinning contract offer in the region of $75,000 (R1.2m) per month of a two and half year contract.
This led to him requesting the opportunity to engage with the club, before the two parties came to a club to club agreement earlier this week.
Burkina Faso international Stephane Aziz Ki is likely to be unveiled with Ittihad also securing his services from the Botola Pro giants in the mid-season window.
Lorch joined Wydad from Mamelodi Sundowns under then head coach Rulani Mokwena and and featured 28 times for the club, scoring eight goals with four assists, while also starring at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America.
