Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro remained coy on whether he will rotate his squad in their last group stage match against Al Ahly SC in Cairo.
Pirates secured their CAFCL quarterfinals spot this past weekend after beating Algerian side CR Belouizdad 2-1 at Orlando Stadium.
They play against the Red Devils this coming weekend in Egypt with a draw enough to see the Buccaneers secure first spot.
Riveiro didn’t want to reveal if he would rotate the squad or if he will go with his known squad.
“Like I said before, it’s time to celebrate right now what we got as a group,” Riveiro said when asked whether he’d rotate in the last group match.
“Trust me, we are spending a lot of time to get this, to make it possible everybody in the club, so it’s a day to celebrate together, to think about what we managed to do already.
“Sometimes we don’t have time to do a reflection about how good we were so far in the competition and like I said before, our intensions will be competitive as much as we can in each and every game.

“If there’s something Pirates was showing during the current season is that it doesn’t matter who is playing the team is still competing very well and again, we want to be competitive, consistent and we going to travel to Cairo to try to win.”
