TS Galaxy attacking midfielder Puso Dithejane is eager to force his way back into the national team fold once he’s worked on his confidence.
Dithejane joined the Rockets in November 2023 and has only registered one goal in 13 appearances in all competitions this season, revealing he’s not satisfied with his game so far. The former Kaizer Chiefs development player says he is working hard to improve on scoring and providing assists.
The 20-year-old was instrumental for the side when they finished sixth under Sead Ramovic last season. He says the version of himself that he is working on will help him get noticed by national team selectors after making the preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for the COSAFA Cup last year.
“I can’t say I’m happy with how my season is going so far but I’m progressing,” said Dithejane.
“You are yet to witness a new Puso Dithejane. I just need time to get my confidence back.
“What I still need to fix in my game is scoring goals and providing assists. So, I stay behind after training doing extra work, shooting and passing just fixing my game so expect a new Puso Dithejane.

“The Puso Dithejane that makes the national team is who you should expect and I won’t just give up on being in the national team because I do have the potential to be there.
“So, I’m going to push and add what’s necessary for me to be in the national team.”
