SA Striker Completes Extended Angola Stay

Former Cape Town Spurs forward Abednego Mosiatlhaga completed a move to Wiliete SC after his exit from Bravos Dos Maquis.

The former Stellenbosch FC striker scored eight goals and laid seven assists in 22 games for Maquis last season.

Mosiatlhaga spent a season and half in Angola after completing a move to Maquis in January 2024, signing an initial short-term contract. But after impressing he signed a one-year contract extension and helped the side to qualify for CAF Confederation Cup.

Recent information received by iDiski Times is that that the 30-year-old has now penned a one-year deal with Wiliete SC with an option to extend after his contract with Bravos expired.

‘Nigo’ will play alongside side South African winger Mahlatse Makudubela who also recently joined Wiliete after leaving DRC giants AS Vita Club.

Wiliete finished second last season in the Girabola just eight points behind champions Petro de Luanda, and they will be playing CAF Champions League football in the upcoming term and Nigo is expected to play a massive role having done so for Bravos in last season’s CAFCC.
