Abednego Mosiatlhaga has extended his stay at Angolan side Bravos do Maquis for the upcoming campaign.
Mosiatlhaga, 29, joined the Girabola side in February 2024 on a four-month deal after being without a club following his brief spell with Sekhukhune United.
Despite netting just once in his single appearance for the club, the former Cape Town Spurs frontman was part of the set-up that reached the Angolan Cup final though they lost 4-0 to Petro De Luanda. They did however qualify for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
With the CAFCC draw already done, Bravo will face Tanzanian side Coastal Union SC with the first-leg set to be played in Angola.
The former Motsepe Foundation Championship Golden Boot award winner was offered a new one-year contract by Bravo when his contract expired at the end of June 2024.
iDiski Times understands that “Nigo” has opted to sign the new deal and he is expected to return to Angola in the next coming days to start pre-season.
