Rulani Mokwena’s Wydad Athletic Club have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Excellence Cup.
The Moroccan giants finished their group stages with a 2-2 draw against JS Soualem on Friday morning.
Mohamed Rayhi scored a brace for Mokwena’s men, who came from a goal behind to take charge of the match. However, 11 minutes from time, Soualem equalised to share the spoils.
Wydad finished Group 5 of the Excellence Cup with eight points from six games, six points behind leaders KACM.
Mokwena’s side, who have now drawn their last five successive games, are one of eight quarter-finalists.
