After Hugo Broos announced his final 23-man Bafana Bafana squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers, 14 players didn’t make the cut.
South Africa will take on Lesotho at Peter Mokaba Stadoum on 21 March before traveling to Ivory Coast to face Benin on 25 March.

Broos, who is targeting two wins from the upcoming international break, cut 14 players from his initial squad.
Orlando Pirates trio Deano Van Rooyen, Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa didn’t make the cut, while Kaizer Chiefs’ only player Rushwin Dortley also didn’t make it after his recent injury troubles.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC also saw three players cut, namely Sage Stephens, Devin Titus and Ashley Cupdio, while TS Galaxy duo Khulumani Ndamane and Samukelo Kabini also dropped out.
