Bayern Munich and South Korea star Kim Min-jae has previewed his side’s final Group A clash against Bafana Bafana.

The 29-year-old, who won the double with the German giants this past season, is one of the big names in the squad of Bafana’s opponents.

With Korea beating Czechia in their first group match, a draw would likely be enough for the Asian nation to qualify for the knockout stages, while Bafana need a win to leave the calculators in the drawer.

Kim has shared his confidence ahead of the clash on Thursday morning 3AM (SAST) but also praised the qualities of Hugo Broos’ men.

“We’re feeling good, we are prepared for today. Let’s see what will happen tomorrow,” he told SportyTV.

“Normally I don’t know [much] but I have South Africa team with my teammates. They will play well, that a [good] tactic, speed, physicality and everything.

“I think they’re a good team. I think tomorrow is a very difficult game for us.

“The reason why we prepare well.”

Kim has made 81 appearances for South Korea, scoring four goals. Thursday’s match against Bafana will be his sixth match at World Cup level.

South Korea were the only Asian team who went unbeaten through the qualifiers, but they have won just one of their five matches against African opposition at World Cup level.
