Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos believes Khulumani Ndamane deserved his Man of the Match award on his debut against Tanzania.
The TS Galaxy defender was one of five debutants on Friday, as a youthful Bafana side were held to a goalless draw by the Taifa Stars.
The 21-year-old, though, showed his qualities and was rightfully awarded with the Man of the Match cheque, according to Broos.
“It means that he made a good performance,” the Belgian mentor said when asked by iDiski Times.
“I’m don’t always agree with the Man of the Match, sometimes when I’m seeing the Man of the Match for me it was someone else.
“Today, when we see our team you can see that Khulumani made a very good performance for his first time in the team and he deserves it.”
