Chippa United defender Justice Chabalala has expressed their excitement at Sinoxolo Kwayiba’s inclusion in the Bafana Bafana fold, saying they’re planning a party for him.
Kwayiba was a late substitution in Bafana’s 5-0 thumping of Congo, earning his third cap for the national team in front of his home fans, having previously featured in the COSAFA Cup.
The Eastern Cape-born player received a late national team call-up after Jayden Adams was dropped for alleged discipline issues.
Chabalala praised Kwayiba’s professionalism and the work he puts in, stating that he deserves to be in the national team.
“We are happy for the boy, the boy has been doing very well he deserves to be there,” Chabalala told the media.
“He is not only serious when we play even off the field, but he arrives early for training and does extra work.
“He deserves to be there and we are happy for the boy. We can’t wait for him to come back and have a party for him.
“We know Sino is quality, he plays any position at Chippa United, he plays centre-back, midfielder, striker, number 10 so we believe in him.
“We won’t wait for him to come back from Bafana Bafana, we going to him.”
