Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Kermit Erasmus has opened up on his conversation with Ronwen Williams after his heroic penalty save against Orlando Pirates.
Williams once again stepped up when Sundowns needed him the most saving the penalty as he did in the CAF Champions League final.

After that crucial penalty save, Williams revealed what helped him stop Pirates utility player Ghampani Lungu from scoring from the penalty spot.
The Bafana Bafana captain revealed to Erasmus that, Ricardo Goss helped him as he played with Lungu at Siwelele last season. Goss told Williams which direction the penalty might be kicked to and the Sundowns shot-stopper took the gamble.
“He and Ronwen played together at SuperSport United; he probably knew him as well,” Williams told SuperSport TV.
“Just before doing this interview, I was speaking with Ronwen. Goss told him that when he went to his left, he kicked over the goals, and he said to Goss when they were together at Siwelele that Ronwen likes to first faint before he dives; he faints one side and he dives the opposite side.
“Ronwen told me he never fainted at all before he went, and that’s what put Lungu off.”
