Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Thabo Cele has revealed why adapting to life under head coach Miguel Cardoso has been a smooth process.
Cele joined the Brazilians as a free agent during the recent transfer window after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs, where he spent two seasons.

The midfielder has already enjoyed a taste of success with Sundowns, winning two trophies – the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup and the MTN8.
He was an unused substitute in the first final against Al Ahli Saudi before making his club debut against Orlando Pirates in the Wafa Wafa final, coming off the bench.
Cele explained that Cardoso’s passion for football and his ability to push players beyond their limits have played a key role in making his transition to the Tshwane giants easier.
“He’s that man, who’s very passionate and very intent and always challenging us to improve,” said Cele.
“Sometimes, you think you’re doing good and then he comes and say, more, more, more. So, it’s a good experience to work with him and kind of coach he is for the team.”
Cele previously played in Portugal for Real SC, Benfica B and Cova da Piedade before moving to Poland to join Radomiak.
His time there also allowed him to learn the Portuguese language, which has proved useful Sundowns as Cardoso and several members of his technical team speak the language.
