Mamelodi Sundowns winger Siyanda Ndlovu has responded to those who doubted whether he would get regular game time at the Tshwane giants.
Ndlovu was speaking after the Brazilians clinched the MTN8 title with a 2-0 victory over Orlando Pirates in Saturday’s final at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The winger has now won two trophies with Sundowns, having also celebrated success in the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup after they defeated Al Ahli Saudi three weeks ago.
Ndlovu revealed that the doubts surrounding his chances of playing motivated him to work even harder and make an immediate impact at the club.
“Those talks really pushed me for me to compete because Sundowns players have quality,” said Ndlovu.
“I also had to pull up my socks in a right way so I can claim a position. I believe those [who said that] helped me a lot.”
Ndlovu believes the similarities in playing philosophy between Mamelodi Sundowns and his former team, Golden Arrows, helped him settle quickly at Chloorkop
“I think adjusting at Sundowns was so easy for me because the football we played at Arrows under coach Manqoba [Mngqithi] is almost the same with Sundowns’ style of play. So, it made things easier for me to adjust,” he added.
