Pitso Mosimane has announced his Bafana Bafana squad for the double-header against Benni McCarthy’s Kenya in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Mosimane and his men got off to a perfect start, beating Guinea 2-1 at home before thrashing Eritrea 5-0.

They currently lead the Group D log with six points, three ahead of Guinea, while Kenya and Eritrea have one points each.
Due to Kenya being one of the co-hosts of the 2027 AFCON, only one team from the group will qualify for the tournament, meaning Bafana need to secure top spot.
Next up is a double-header against McCarthy’s Harambee Stars, hosting them at Orlando Amstel Arena on 13 November before facing them away from home four days later.
Mosimane had initially announced a 38-man preliminary squad but had to cut it down and announced his final selection on Thursday.
Among the big talking points was the return of Mbekezeli Mbokazi, as well as the inclusion of Siyanda Ndlovu, who was not part of the preliminary squad.
