Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has included three uncapped players in his 36-man preliminary national team squad, while a few others returned, leading to five players being cut from his last provisional squad.
Stellenbosch FC duo Thabo Moloisane, who has an exclusive interview in this week’s iDiski Times, and Devin Titus as well as Relebohile Mofokeng are the uncapped players in the squad.
In addition, Given Msimango, Bathusi Aubaas, Thabiso Monyane, Grant Kekana, Percy Tau and Lyle Foster returned to Broos’ selection.
However, there was no space for defenders Bradley Cross and Siyanda Xulu. Meanwhile, midfielders Goodman Mosele and Thabang Monare were also dropped in comparison to the last preliminary squad.
Finally, Thapelo Maseko also didn’t make the squad but he is currently recovering from an injury.
