Banyana Banyana star Jermaine Seoposenwe was on the scoresheet for Monterrey in a 3-1 victory against Club Tijuana.
Monterrey moved to second place in Liga MX Women after claiming their fifth win in the last six matches. They now sit just two points behind Thembi Kgatlana’s UNAL Tigres, who have one game in hand.
Seoposenwe scored the second goal of the match and her seventh in the league, as she put Rayadas into the lead inside 54th minute.
This is a great confidence boaster for the Banyana star, as they set to face Nigeria in the final round of Olympics qualifiers.
The former UWC midfielder is expected to travel to South Africa for the mouthwatering clash against Nigeria, which will start with the first leg played out in Lagos and second leg in Pretoria.
