SuperSport United winger Shandre Campbell has attracted “serious interest from a number of clubs Europe”, according to his representative Mike Makaab.
Campbell took his first senior full season by storm, playing a vital role in United reaching the CAF Confederation Cup group stages and finishing in the top eight.
His performance didn’t go unnoticed this past campaign, and Makaab confirmed on Gagasi FM that his client has caught the eye of a few interested clubs overseas.
“The likelihood of him staying in South Africa is not good,” Makaab told Gagasi FM.
“We have a few teams that have expressed interest in the young man, and I’m hoping within the next seven to 10 days, at a stretch 14 days, to be able to give you some exciting news about Shandre Campbell.
“We have a number of very interesting clubs who have expressed a serious interest to bring him to Europe for the start of the new season.”
One of the clubs believed to be interested in Campbell are Belgian giants Club Brugge, according to SABC Sport.
Campbell came through the youth ranks at Matsatsantsa before being promoted to the senior team in 2023/24 under the mentorship of Gavin Hunt.
