AmaZulu Confirm Loan Move For Defender

AmaZulu FC have confirmed the loan transfer of defender Sandile Khumalo to Motsepe Foundation Championship side Black Leopards.

Khumalo spent last season on loan at Lidoda Duvha and enjoyed a fairly good spell even though Leopards failed to at least finish in the top three. He then returned to Usuthu for pre-season for assessment under the watchful eye of head coach Pablo Franco.

AmaZulu have since confirmed that the 26-year-old will spend yet another season at the MFC outfit on loan because of his familiarity with the players and surroundings.

Lidoda Duvha started the season on a good note beating newcomers Leruma United 2-0 in Thohoyandou Stadium.

Leopards’ next encounter against Casric Stars will be played in Venda after Stars could not secure venue availability.

Khumalo will be available for selection at that time as he has already moved to Venda to re-join Leopards for the 2024/25 season.
