AmaZulu look set to win the race for highly-rated Kenya international forward Moses Shumah who has attracted widespread interest across the continent.
Shumah, 23, has been linked with moves to Wydad Athletic Club, RS Berkane, Azam FC and Simba SC after winning the Golden Boot award in the Zambian Super League with Power Dyamos.
He netted 21 goals in 25 league games, which also led to him winning the Fan’s Player of the Year and Footballer of the Season at the annual awards ceremony.
iDiski Times have been informed the player has agreed terms in principal with Usuthu – who are looking to bolster their attacking options, with Thabiso Kutumela and Elmo Kambindu both departing ahead of next season.
The towering striker has scored one goal in three senior international caps for the Harambee Stars since making his international debut two years ago.
