Beganovic Reveals What He’s Changed After First Galaxy Win

TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic highlighted the change in attitude & direct football as key factors in their first Betway Premiership win of the campaign.

Galaxy defeated Sekhukhune United 3-1 for their first three points under Beganovic who took over the club after Sead Ramovic’s departure earlier this month.

Beganovic believes his side was unlucky in the opening games while the schedule wasn’t kind to them as well, further adding that he didn’t change much except to get his team to play direct football.

“I didn’t change a lot because the first six games we played well maybe not with that attitude, but we played well,” Beganovic answered iDiski Times.

“I think we didn’t have luck in the first six games and also, we had a tough schedule. We played six games away and only one game at home. And I talked with my players I just added on coach’s [Sead Ramovic] work just a little bit.

“I want to use more crosses, I play straight football, that’s everything we changed actually.”

The 41-year-old also believed that his side deserved the victory based on how they prepared during the international break.

“It’s very important because until now we had two points and we were at the bottom of the table,” added Beganovic.

“But I know we deserved to win this game because of how we prepared in the last 15 days, how we trained and how we analysed the opponent.

“We prepared our team to play like how the team played today and I’m so happy about our presentation. In the end, I think we deserved to win this game maybe we can score more goals but it’s okay we have to work on something.”

The victory moved the Rockets from the danger zone to 12th position with five points in seven matches.
