TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic says he warned his players at half-time that 1-0 scoreline was a dangerous lead against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Rockets pressed Chiefs in the first and had more shots on target. They got rewarded just before break, when Samunkelo Kabini scored from a header.
With the 1-1 draw, Beganovic’s side extended their unbeaten run to five matches (four of them under the new coach) and moved to 11th place with 10 points after 10 matches.
Beganovic revealed that he told his players they should look for the second goal to kill off the match, but also admitted that the visitors deserved their point in the end.
“I said at half-time in the dressing room, ‘if we want to win this game we need to score the second goal’,” Beganovic said after the match.

“Obviously Chiefs have good players in the team, they put all strikers on, second half they played better and they put everything to attack us, they played many crosses in the box.
“Then it’s I can say unlucky but if you want to be honest Chiefs deserved the draw.”
Galaxy are back in action on 29 December when they will face Royal AM away from home.
