Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef has lauded Flavio Silva’s return to form after facing criticism earlier in the season.
The 30-year-old striker was among the goalscorers as Amakhosi secured a convincing 4-1 win over Magesi FC in their Betway Premiership clash at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday.

Silva has now scored in back-to-back matches, taking his tally to eight goals in all competitions, along with one assist.
The victory marked Chiefs’ fifth league win as they continue their push for a top-three finish.
Following the match against Dikwena tša Meetse, Ben Youssef emphasized that Silva has always had the instinct to score whenever he finds himself in the box, describing him as a “smart and intelligent” forward.
“I think Silva, it’s not for me to discuss about Silva. Silva showed from the start of the season that he’s the kind of striker that in any situation in the box he can score,” said Ben Youssef.
“He’s so smart, he’s so intelligent in the box and he’s helping the team.
“Now he’s at seven goals and you see even today the goal, that it’s a technical individual [goal] that he scored.
“So, he helped us because we didn’t start very well the game. So he helped us and he made it more easy for us in the game.”
