Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils Caleb Bimneyimana has attracted interest from Ukraine, iDiski Times have learnt.
In May, this publication reported that the club leadership informed the Burundi international that he is not part of their first-team plans going forward after an indifferent debut season.
He finished as Amakhosi top scorer with eight goals in all competitions, five of which were from the penalty spot but the club are now seeking a new no.9.
However, Bimneyimana rejected the opening approach from an unnamed Ukrainian club, as he seeks to better his current earnings at the Soweto giants.
Despite his club future being uncertain, Bimenyimana stared for Burundi in their 3-2 win over Namibia on Tuesday, scoring one goal and setting up one more to keep his country’s hopes of qualifying for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations alive.
