Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana looks set to leave the club after just one season, iDiski Times understands.
The Burundi international was informed last month by head coach Arthur Zwane that he is not part of his future plans after failing to convince the technical team he could fit into their style of play.
This website understands the informal discussion transpired after he approached the Amakhosi boss to ask why his game-time was drastically diminished since the mid-season arrival of Christian Saile.
Bimenyimana, who scored seven goals in the first eight games at the club, was left surprised when he was part of the matchday squads against Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United but an exit appears imminent, as he looks to secure first-team football next season.
The towering striker initially signed a two-year deal with a one-year option at the Soweto giants after a confusing trial stint in the off-season, where he was later recalled after weeks of non-communication.
But it always appeared as if he was living on borrowed time, as some sort of panic-buy for Amakhosi, who started the campaign without a recognised number nine after the exits of Lazarous Kamobole, Leonardo Castro, and Samir Nurkovic in their off-season clear-out.
This publication understands Bimenyimana has already been offered to several clubs in North Africa and the Gulf region, while a stay in the DStv Premiership has been ruled out, with the player looking towards starting fresh in a new environment after a disappointing end to his stay at Naturena.
