Bvuma On Relationship With Chiefs’ GK Coach

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has described the club’s new goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi as a quality coach and a great human being.

Mzoughi arrived at the club as part of Chiefs’ new technical team at the beginning of the season as they look to revive Amakhosi.

Bvuma and fellow keepers at the club have enjoyed some game time under the new technical team with Bvuma the only one with a clean sheet in five league appearances.

The Chiefs youth graduate spoke to reporters including iDiski Times’ senior journalist Lorenz Köhler in an interview carried in edition 187 of the newspaper. The 29-year-old further added that Mzoughi is a father figure and is reliable.

“Coach Ilyes, quality, quality, quality goalkeeper coach,” said Bvuma.

“A great human being, like a father to us as goalkeepers, or even like the in-field players. You know in life; you sometimes get people that you never thought you’ll meet. This is someone that, even if I’m going through whatever that I’m going through off the field, I can easily take a call and phone him.

“That’s the relationship we have with him. He’s a father figure, and obviously a hard worker. He demands a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean it like it, he demands a lot from us.

“We work very hard, and he believes in hard work, which obviously, like you definitely should see the results soon. And he’s a good guy to be with.”
