Richards Bay coach Papi Zothwane is of the notion that Kaizer Chiefs still possess quality playing personnel despite their recent Betway Premiership slump.
The Glamour Boys succumbed to their ninth league defeat of the season after a shock 2-0 loss at the hands of the Natal Rich Boyz on Sunday.
Nasreddine Nabi’s charges once again failed to move up the standings and are still stuck in eighth position with Zothwane adding that there is quality in the Naturena-based outfit but like other sides in previous seasons, things aren’t exactly working out how they wish.
“In my observation and opinion, I might be wrong, but Chiefs has got good players,” said Zothwane.
“They’ve got good players, it’s just that maybe it’s a phase or a patch where things are not happening.
“But they’ve got good personnel, sometimes things don’t work out and it has happened to many teams like [Orlando] Pirates.
